As I have mentioned earlier, socialization only occurs through group or team work. It is so generalized to just say social skills, let us get into more details.

When the teacher starts the class everyone is completely familiar with the process of being part of a group and the team work. Teacher gives them a goal and the time bound. As the activity is started, every student tries to learn but not just that, he tries his best to teach his teammate too, because the purpose is that they all have to learn and the groups score is the one which is important, they try to raise it. In this regard, every one of the students plays the role of a teacher to each other and they do it in various ways to achieve the desired result. Changing the members of groups is a way to make them to learn how to communicate with different people easily and to discuss together.

These activities not only tend to work on their social skills but they also affect students’ personality in various parts such as confidence, the ability to transfer and share information and accepting others opinion or criticism.

Cooperative language learning tends to actualize the communication and the situations that really happen in their daily life in order to prepare them personally and socially to use it outside of the class too.
